Buddhism: This is a religion that does not believe in a god or gods. But it is a religion that believes in reincarnation (rebirth). It is found in most of Asia, but originated in China, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam. It was brought to light by the working classes, but quickly spread to the leaders of countries. The founder, Buddha, may have died, but his religion has grown to be the fourth largest religion in the world.
Hinduism: There is no known founder of Hinduism, as it was developed over centuries of invasions in India in the B.C.E. Era. This religion supports the belief of many gods for some groups, and is monotheistic for other groups. Since it is such a large religion, it has up to fifty sub-sections. It is mostly found in South Asia, and has become the third largest religion to this day.
Islam: Many believe that Muhammad was the founder of Islam, while others believe it was created around the same time that the world was created, and that Muhammad was just one of the last prophets. The religion is split into 3 major groups: Sunni, Shi'ite, and Sufism. It is popular for people to think of Islam as a radical religion found only in the Middle East. This is not true, as Islam is a huge religion growing very quickly. It is a big religion in the Middle East, but it is also spreading all through Asia and around the world, making it the second largest religion behind Christianity.
